Carbon Steel Grades are MS, EN1A-NON LEADED, EN1A-LEADED, S40C, S355J2G3, CK45, EN3B, EN8, EN8D, EN8M, EN9, EN32B, EN43B, IS2062, ASTM SA-36, ASTM SA-105, SAE1018, C20, C45, 20C8, 40C8, 45C8, 55C8, C55MN75, C50, C60.These Carbon Steel grades can get in a form of Carbon Steel Round Bar, Carbon Steel Flat, Carbon Steel Square, and also Plate and Sheet.
Carbon Steel Round Bar – C15Carbon Steel Round Bar is plain steel with a nominal 0.15% carbon content. It is low strength steel but it may be quenched and tempered for increased strength. The low carbon steels, such as C15 are used for applications such as cold headed fasteners and bolts.
Carbon Steel Round Bar – C20Carbon Steel round bar C20 is an unalloyed low carbon mild steel grade supplied as a hot rolled or bright drawn finish bar. As a low carbon grade, it provides low strength with good machinability and is suitable for welding. Lightly stressed in the form of bolts, fixings, shafts, spacers, hubs, and bushings. Bracketry, linkages, and base plates would be fine to produce using carbon steel EN3.
Carbon Steel Round Bar – C30Step Shaft: steel plate/sheet,coil,round bar, flat bar,tube/pipe,Profiled forgings. C30 steel, steel plates, C30 steel sheet, is a kind of high carbon steel plates, steel sheets in EN10250 standard.
Carbon Steel Round Bar – C40It is a medium Carbon Steel which is similar to low carbon steel except that the carbon ranges from 0.30 to 0.60% & the manganese from 0.50 to 1.65%. Increasing the carbon content is approximately 0.5% with an accompanying increase in manganese allows medium carbon steel to be used in the quenched & tempered conditions.
Carbon Steel Round Bar – C45C45 is a medium carbon steel grade offering reasonable tensile strength. Supplied in the cold drawn or hot rolled condition, tensile properties can vary but are approximately between 500-800 N/mm². This grade can be flame or induction hardened to produce a good surface hardness with moderate wear resistance. C45 is widely used for components that require better properties than mild steel but does not justify the costs of alloy steel.
